It's a street with lots of small initiatives, cafe's, young fashion designers and non-profit art venues. A pretty nice street where you can breathe plenty of energy. The plant boxes represent the sphere in this creative street. Lots of them are full of wildly growing flowers and weeds, a part of them are enthusiastically decorated by occupants and shop owners; they transform the boxes into small city gardens or green party objects. Some of the plant boxes are just there trying to survive. La mauvaise herbe (weeds) is an irritating joyfull Karaoke ode to urban weeds, made for our local government that's trying to stimulate creativity on the one hand and on the other hand has a strict policy of killing everything that's not controllable.
